Construction of the Scout Retreat signal tower began with unloading and sorting of the various legnths of poles and ropes. 20-ft poles will be used for the four corners, with smaller members for cross pieces, the platform and railing at the top.

The second tower side piece is constructed on top of the first to ensure that they are symmetrical.
