Album: Retreat XVII - 2008
The Catholic Committee on Scouting Archdiocese of Los Angeles (CCSALA) sponsored their 1tth Annual Scout Retreat on September 26, 27 and 28, 2008 at Veterans Park in Sylmar, CA.

Each of the 300 Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Venture Crew Members, parents and adult leaders received a special Retreat XVII patch featuring the theme Service and the Patron Saint John Bosco. T-Shirts with the Retreat Patch were also avaiable for purchase.

Each of the 400 Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Venture Crew Members, parents and adult leaders received a special Retreat XVI patch featuring the theme Perseverance and the Patron Saint Monica.

The Catholic Committee on Scouting for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles conducted its 15^th annual scout retreat on October 6-8, 2006, at Veterans Park in Sylmar, California. 572 scouts and scouters attended the 2-day/2-night event, which is the second highest attendance ever.
